About Me

i am just a dot in the i

Well, it’s promising that you are here. And want to know more about me.

Truth be told i went through my youth like a kid would gobble up a favourite candy. And all of a sudden, i am 58! Damn. When i was in my teens, i held the oldies – above 40, (sorry all you guys who are above 40. Actually, it is the best age to be. So, enjoy.) as literally old and then i was. Period. i learnt to live. And the thing about living life dangerously is that you wisen up and so, i do feel that I have seen life up very close and learnt a bountiful of lessons. That which comes handy with my work and passion of writing and learning.

i write there i am. That’s one step ahead of Descartes. And to put it better, i think, therefore i write. Or is it the other way round? But then, I learned to read long before I could write. I was about 10 and there were not many screens. So reading was good entertainment, and education. I read anything and everything. That way, reading set the parametres of my writing. And today I write as easily as I speak. Or better.

i did my post-graduation in journalism and mass communication, worked for Dalal Street Journal, Times of India, Government of Karnataka, K2, Solitaire, Bidco and then i am back to K2. Recently I published my first book – Become The Better You - and am on my second book which is titled – Live like a Winner. It is much better than the first one, (they all are…) only because it tells you something new. Perhaps you knew it all along. You will know it. When you read it.

Reading makes you complete. It gives you an opportunity to know people. Strangers too… and they suddenly appear very human. Very familiar. So, this site is about me and my books and poetry. Want to know more, just write to me. Time willing and your queries are engrossing or perplexing, i will write back. i am always willing to help those who seek to better their life.

The reason i use the lower instance of ‘I’ is a small way to acknowledge that i am unimportant. i am just the dot in the i.

More about me as time progresses.
